I’m currently the CEO of Gwent Wildlife Trust. I love a challenge and I’m passionate about learning from different sectors and groups to solve intractable challenges and address the Nature and Climate Crises. To broaden my knowledge and network I completed my MBA at Warwick Business School, and taking a cross-sectoral approach successfully developed and delivered catchment scale nature based flood risk management to save downstream homes and livelihoods; reintroduced Pine Martens to the Forest of Dean to tackle tree damage from non-native Grey Squirrels and boost eco-tourism; developed one of the largest Biodiversity Net Gain projects in the UK as part of a £26million canal restoration; and secured thousands of acres of land and tens of millions of pounds to restore wildlife populations.
