At 1:30pm Elle Kaye will be discussing the challenges and complexities of being creative in an historically scientific space. Following that, Pete Cooper and Hannah Needham will co-host a panel discussion focussed on challenging norms in nature conservation; and at 3pm Amira Nuseibeh will lead a discussion on overcoming barriers to nature conservation. Finally, join in the discussions with Naomi Johns and Daniel Hill will co-host a wildlife professionals world cafe. And that’s just day one!

Getting our Saturday events off to a great start at 10:30 AM, Heather Fortune will share her experiences from a year-long expedition focused on bird conservation projects across Asia. At 11:30 AM, Mya Bambrick , Amy King, and their guests will host a screening of their film “Conservation: The Next Generation,” followed by a Q&A session. Our penultimate event at 3:30 PM will feature Naturetastic Henry, who will demonstrate how we can engage in citizen science. Finally, at 4:30 PM, Hubert Pollard will bring his youthful energy to the hub with his fresh, humorous, and determined take on birdwatching.

Sunday is our third and final day beginning at 10:30AM with Indy Kiemel Greene and Benji Fallow, who will share stories about their fundraising walks and the wildlife they encountered. Following them at 11:30 AM, Emma Pocklington, the Editor of The RSPB Magazine and a nature writer, will teach participants how to use storytelling to benefit the natural world. At 12:30 PM, Naomi Johns and Daniel Hill will host a debate on the age-old question: local or global? This will be followed by a session at 1:30 PM led by wildlife photographer and podcaster Harry Read. At 2:30 PM, Ajay Tegala and a panel of familiar faces will discuss the role of social media in spreading and promoting conservation messages, encouraging inclusivity, and campaigning for positive action.
