To celebrate our launch, we held a special Osprey Cruise at Rutland Water on 20th June. It was a wonderful evening with over 60 people on board. During our two hour trip around the reservoir we talked about the aims and objectives of the Foundation, enjoyed some great food and drink, and were treated to views of two Ospreys searching for their own evening meal.

An onboard raffle raised over £400 for the Foundation and we are extremely grateful to everyone who kindly donated prizes, including River Gwash Trout Farm, The Grainstore Bewery, Ken Davies, Gill Lewis and Oxford University Press, Ceri Levy, Ralph Steadman and Bloomsbury Publishing, and Chris Wood. The Grainstore Brewery also kindly gave away a bottle of Osprey ale to everyone on board.
